It looks good, man. Maybe you can try to improve on the lining a bit...Make it look more smooth. Also, it's best that you try to get a high-res version of the scan that you want to vector.

hmm...first vector, huh? well, my opinion is that you've done it well! u used to make wallies also, right? u implemented the techniques u used on them and apply it on this vector art! the outlines are perfect and the coloring is also very good. maybe the eyes need a little adjusting and the outline at the neck line could be darken. maybe i'm wrong, but is the right hand side of the shirt shadow suppose to be grey, or black? just a question!

all in all, a great vector art! nice first try. keep up the good work!
